Trip is a seasoned sports professional with almost twenty years of experience in building winning sales and management initiatives. His well-rounded background includes experience in corporate partnership sales and service; ticket sales, service and operations; broadcast sales and operations; media relations; advertising campaigns; promotions; event production and stadium operations. Trip has significant experience in broadcast operations in both television and radio, and his success in developing community relationships and partnership programs that benefit the residents and business professionals of the region are recognized on a national level.
Trip spent fourteen years at Elon University as the Associate Director of Athletics. His familiarity with small schools, competitive markets and limited budgets allows him to understand the day-to-day challenges of the small school administrator. While at Elon, he grew the corporate revenue from 16k annually (before he arrived) to over 170k yearly.
Trip is a Past President of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA). He has developed relationships with both the NCAA Division II office in Indianapolis and the NAIA office in Kansas City, each leading to quality programming for both associations.
